1. How do I get great products with my furbaby’s image on them?
We will process your digital image of your feline furbaby so that CafePress (and other ‘produce on demand’ partners) can provide you with great products to celebrate and honor the love they bring. 2. How does this help Cat Welfare Association (CWA) ?
The Cat Welfare Association of central Ohio receives 50% of the net proceeds of all customized items sold through this program.

3. What sort of image do you need?
We can work with standard .jpg .bmp .tif or .png digital files. We can not use .gif .raw or most other file formats. The minimum image size to product the highest quality products should be at least 1,000 pixels in the smaller dimension. Generally a file size of at least 1Mb is needed for good results.

For larger products, such as the great CP Throw Pillow or a Ceramic Tile Mural, an image of at least 2,000 pixels in the smaller dimension, and a file size of at least 2Mb is required. We will contact you if one of your image files is not suitable; producing a great product that will make you happy is our goal.

4. What sort of image adjustment do you do?
We will make sure any scratches are removed (as much as possible within the limitations of hair, fur, etc.) and format each image to the correct proportion and image size for as many CP products as possible. We will remove any major color shifts (digital cameras are prone to strong blue tints). We will not add people, merge images, remove the ex or fix your hair.

Please note that every monitor is slightly different and colors may vary slightly.

In addition, products are produced on differing base material and colors may vary slightly.

Also, images and products may be viewed in differing lighting conditions; colors may vary slightly.

5. I don’t have a digital camera, can you use a print?
We can scan in images from a print; there would be an additional fee. Please send us an Email if you have any questions. Please note that the declaration of image and animal ownership will be required for a photographic print, as well as a digital image.

6. What is a “Declaration of Ownership” or a “Customization Request Form“?
A link to our Customization Request Form is found to the right; it has just four questions to help us prepare your customized products.

We require you to declare that you own, or have the rights to use, each image you send to us, and that you own the animal[s] in each image. For additional details, please visit our Copyright Notice.

7. What products are available?
Our current offering includes ceramic tile & ornament products, magnets & buttons, totebags, mousepads, notecards and journals produced by CafePress. We can also produce artwork for Zazzle’s range of cards, postage, mugs, bags and ties.

8. How long does it take?
To a certain degree it depends on the quality of the image file[s] you send, and how many different products you are interested in seeing.

CafePress produces item in a matter of days, and shipping to central Ohio from their KY facility is usually just a few more. Customers in other locations may experience longer shipping times. Zazzle produces all products in California- shipping times to the east will tend to be longer than with CafePress.

9. Do you guarantee your work?
Both Zazzle and CafePress offer 30 day guarantees, and have years of experience in producing high-quality products we are proud to own ourselves. In addition, the magnets and ornaments available for sale at the CWA Shelter and off-site events are CafePress products.

10. How much does this cost?
The pricing on customized products are just a few dollars more than the regular CWA merchandise; this is the only additional cost for customization. We do not charge any artwork, set-up or production fees. There is no minimum order. Current pricing is shown here.

11. Can I share my custom product section with family and friends?
Please do… the section is not searchable in the regular CWA store, but the link may be sent to family and friends. Remember that CWA receives a large portion of the revenues generated. We will keep your custom products available for 30 days; please let us know if you wish to have the section available for a longer period of time.

12. Will you produce CustomCat products for non-feline furbabies?
Yes we will gladly help you and your canine, avian, or other furbaby support Cat Welfare Association of central OH.
